When installing fiber optic cables with compressed air, the pipes must be perfectly lubricated before cable laying can be started.

In order to spread the lubricant (GLISS® W, S LUB or GLISS® AIR 108) in micrometer thickness onto the pipe walls it is necessary, after pouring the lubricant and pushing it with air, to insert a geometric-shaped swab that will help spread the lubricant onto the pipe walls.
